National Mall

We spent the day touring the National Mall in the capital. This was a great way to spend our last full day in the USA. It was fun to see the inbound IFYE's see our monuments and get to explain some of our history to them. 

If you know me you know I love my plants, so I just had to visit the Unites States botanical gardens at the Smithsonian. It was beautiful. 

A few of us walked to lunch at a Korean food place. There were no tables, you sat on stairs to eat. It was delicious food, and a cool experience.
