On my Way

Today is the day we’ve been preparing for. My luggage is packed, I’m ready to take off. Started the morning at 4am to make it to Denver International Airport. I met up with two of the other Colorado IFYEs, as well as two from other states. All 3 of the Colorado IFYEs are past 4-H members, so we bonded over our experiences. Our plane will be landing in Washington D.C soon (I’m writing this from seat 38D). I am anxious and excited for the adventure to begin!
